Welcoming Bronx // WV Home Birth Photography

Remember the Witts? We work with them at least few times a year and are so grateful for the relationship we have with these lovely people.

So when Christi told me last year that they were expecting another bundle of joy, I started crossing my fingers and toes that the stars would align for me to document the birth.

This was not my first time witnessing a birth, but it was the first time I’ve had the honor of photographing a birth. It was a powerful, emotional experience.

I’ll never forget the moment when Bronx crowned. He came into this world screaming at the top of his lungs!

I’m so happy that my first birth photography experience was with a family I already knew so well. I also loved experiencing a home birth- it was great to experience the day in the comfort of the family’s home, with big sister Brooklyn just chillin’ in the next room.

We are now offering birth photography in the Charleston, WV area on a case by case basis (depending on our wedding bookings). These will all be shot just by me (Emily). Whether you are having a home birth or a hospital birth, I would love to document your birth story!
