Perfect weather. A gorgeous and happy couple. Beautiful rustic details. A great group of guests. Sky lanterns at the end of the night.
We loved that Katie & Nate saw each other before the ceremony and gave us time to take the photos they hired us to take. This meant that they were able to get a great blend of portraits, detail shots, and photojournalism. When couples don’t see each other for portraits before the ceremony, it can sometimes jeopardize the time we have to take portraits afterwards. Whether you see each other before your ceremony or not, if you are prioritizing your photography & care about portraits, please give your photographer(s) the time to take them!

Oh my goodness, the framing and lighting on each image is just AMAZING. The shot of the man toasting surrounded by bokeh lights is phenomenal (I might’ve pinned it as inspiration)… love the cake-cutting shots too. You guys, just staaahhppp (okay don’t stop).

A beautiful set! I lOVE the shot of the bouquet and the flowers on the cake. gorgeous color and clarity. My favorites are the black and white of the bride by the window and the first dance twirling shot and the photo of that girl so excited about the lanterns at the end. But they’re all great.
