Today is West Virginia’s 150th birthday!
Bobby and I have been stumbling over the word “sesquicentennial” all week… it really is a mouthful, isn’t it? Also, don’t tell my personal trainer, but I am crossing my fingers I have a chance to get a piece of the GINORMOUS cake. Seriously, guys. It’s 8 feet long.
Anyway, in honor of the state’s sesquicentennial, we wanted to share a few of our favorite photos of this beautiful state. They cover everything from Charleston, to Snowshoe, to Cooper’s Rock, to the New River Gorge, to the Greenbrier, and more. It’s really just a small selection of photos from a state oozing with beauty.
