Meet Lane and Cameron. Lane is a West Virginia girl and Cam hails from New Zealand. They met while teaching writing to international students in China.
Shortly after they moved from Guangzhou to Beijing, Lane became pregnant with their little girl (the incredibly adorable Stella). Cam proposed to Lane on the Great Wall of China, and they started planning their West Virginia nuptials from across the globe.
Since so many of their guests would be traveling from all over the world, they wanted their WV wedding to be a long weekend of relaxing and making new friends.
Lane did an amazing job of gathering details from chinese markets as relevant personal touches on their wedding day. The chinese fans on the chairs were a great idea since it was a classic hot and humid West Virginia July day! We also loved the chinese lettering calligraphy on the table runners, the gold doilies, and the chinese candy favors they brought for guests. Their guestbook was a large world map- a perfect touch for a couple whose guest list included friends and family from all over the world.
